How do we report the proportion of patients undergoing colonic resection reported as having more than 12 lymph nodes examined in the 2018 report?

All colon cancer patients aged 18 or over diagnosed between 1 April 2016 and 31 March 2017 who, according to NBOCA, underwent a major resection (regardless of surgical urgency or curative intent).

There are two results for this outcome:
1) The proportion of colon cancer patients with recorded number of lymph nodes (i.e. the proportion of complete data present for this outcome)
2) The proportion of those patients identified above with >=12 lymph nodes reported

This differs to the Clinical Outcomes Publication which reports the proportion of overall cases with >=12 lymph nodes (i.e. the two values above multiplied by each other)
